Haepapa Whānau Evening
On Thursday 22nd June Haepapa, had their first ever Whānau evening! As we walked in, we saw parents and their children having a blast. There was delicious food brought by the families that came, ready to be eaten! Daniel said the Karakia and we all had the food.
On the tables, there were yummy donuts, chips, spring rolls tea-etc…
While everyone was taking food, the teachers and some parents went around talking to each other and the room sounded as loud as a zoo. There were compliments all over about how amazing our new modern learning environment is.
Later on that night, we had three Kahoot games made by the student councillors especially for that night. As the game started everyone was determined to win. It was fun and we hope that everyone who came enjoyed, and that there would be more nights like this.
