Room 11 in the New Flexible Learning Environment

Whairemaire Tekau ma Tahi has been having an amazing journey over the last 5 weeks in the most awesome up to date atmosphere, where all students and teachers have collaborated and come together a lot more.

Some of the highlights have been our students using the new shared area both independently and collaboratively. We have been running inter-class maths workshops. Students have enjoyed using the quiet spaces and the recording room, with assessment running smoothly as well. Classrooms are colourful and warm, with flash, comfortable furniture and excellent new technology for learning. Another highlight this term, was learning cpr with St. John’s, which the students loved. Students also enjoyed Samoan language week, as well as learning their pepeha, karakia and contributed to a yummy, shared morning tea. The best part was the making of the kakahu for Matariki, which every student contributed to. Here are some photos:
